1927 Scripps F-6 marine engine with transmission. SOLD This rare motor was originally delivered to the Yandt boat works Coeur d' Alene, ID in 1927. But has been in my family since the 70's. Displacement is roughly 300 cubic inches and it is very heavy. The motor is stuck and will need a complete rebuild by someone who knows antique motors with babbitt bearings. The carburetor and starter are missing. Scripps was an exclusive marine engine and could be ordered as an upgrade in your Chriscraft, Hacker or Garwood back in the day. Most other marine engines were conversions of auto engines or industrial engines. If you are looking for something different to set your wood classic apart from the rest this might be worth your consideration. I will build a sturdy wood crate if the buyer requires shipping, The buyer would be responsible for all shipping expenses. I cannot ship out of the USA.
